Be Kind
What Is Kindness?
Kindness is more than being nice. It’s noticing.
It’s choosing to care when you don’t have to.
It’s a smile you didn’t expect, a door held open, a moment of patience, a text that says, thinking of you.
For the giver, kindness is connection. A softening. A reminder of who you really are.
For the receiver, it’s light, it’s dignity. It’s someone saying, you matter.
And here’s the magic:
The moment you give it—you get it too.
It starts with you!
Self-kindness isn’t selfish—it’s where all kindness begins.
Kindness: It Catches On!
What you put out there tends to come back—often in unexpected ways. Practice kindness and practice noticing the kindness when it flows your way
Kindness in Action!
Kindness isn’t just a feeling. It’s where we place our attention.
It’s listening without rushing. Pausing before we speak. Noticing when someone needs a moment of care.
It doesn’t have to be big. But it should be real. Because the smallest act of kindness is a connection that can mean the world to someone.
Kindness is Strength
It takes real strength to be kind, to stay soft in a world that can be hard.
To slow down when everything says hurry. To listen when it would be easier not to.
Kindness isn’t weakness.
It’s courage in quiet form. And every time we choose it, we make the world a little gentler—for everyone.
“If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.
If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”
— Attributed to the Buddha (c. 5th–4th century BCE)
